After a careful and stilish restructuring, with a vintage touch which keeps the original '60s atmosphere intact, we proudly present the GARIBALDI R&B.
The R&B is located on the upper floor of a lovely building which is part of the "Palazzata" of Messina, built in the ‘50s from Giuseppe Samonà, one of the main representatives of the Italian rationalist architecture.
GARIBALDI R&B cozy rooms face the harbor on one side and the old town on another, within walking distance from the Cathedral, the church of SS Annunziata dei Catalani and the Central University.
Its strategic position allows to enjoy the city liveliness, thanks to many nearby cafes and restaurants, as well as the convenience to reach the Expo neighborhood and the Regional Museum of Messina. We offer STANDARD and SUPERIOR rooms as well as a junior suite with private kitchen and jacuzzi shower. All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with free WiFi, minibar, TV LCD, phone and private bath.

Comfortably served by public transport, we are in a strategic position at only 800m from the Maritime Railway Station, very close to the bus terminal for Catania airport and from the docking of hydrofoils and ships for Reggio Calabria, Villa San Giovanni, Salerno and the Aeolian islands.
The highway (exit "Boccetta") to reach Taormina or Milazzo is only 2 km away.

Our R&B is located in the earth of the old town of Messina, within walking distance from the Cathedral and the Church of SS Annunziata dei Catalani. The central university and the Court are less than 1 km away. Being comfortably served by public transport it is easy to reach the Regional Museum of Messina with paintings and sculpture exhibits from 12th to 18th century, including Antonello da Messina and Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, as well as the city main hospitals and the beaches, including Punta Faro pylon and Ganzirri lake.

Good starting point to visit Messina Eastern Province and the renowned Taormina, one of the most famous tourist spots in the world. This glamorous and charming location features an extremely well preserved greek-roman theatre, medieval streets and alleys and the gorgeous beaches of "Isolabella" and Giardini Naxos. Also not to be missed an adventurous excursion to the gorges of the Alcantara river and to the craters of the Etna, the highest active volcano of the Eurasian plate.

In the western side of the Province are located the remarkable Sanctuary of the Black Madonna of Tindari and the city of Milazzo, with its medieval castle, national and EU monument, from where you can have one of the most breadth-taking view of the entire Sicily, the ancient cathedral (1700 a.d.) and the new cathedral (1951 a.d.), many historical monuments and the Museum of the "Tonnara" and of the sea.
Not to be missed are also beautiful beaches and wonderful sites such as Venere’s pool and the sunset scenery of Capo Milazzo, followed by a tantalizing appetizer in the “Borgo Antico” with its old medieval little churches and rich nightlife.
